New York City
I'm running the gold master version of iOS 6 on a new iPad - when I push the 3D button in maps it tilts the map up in anticipation of a 3D flyover but no buildings appear, it's just the same static normal map but at an angle. Am I missing some setting somewhere I have to turn on to get this to work? And I'm browsing in cities that have been confirmed to be flyover cities so it's not like they're just not available. Any help would be great - thanks!

Go to New York City by the World Trade Center or Chicago, IL as those support it for sure. Turn on Satellite View. Then press the little building button on the bottom left and it should work. I think if isn't an area that supports it the little building icon will just say "3D".

Yep, sorry, this is working fine once I navigated to midtown Manhattan - just seems like they haven't mapped the part of NYC I live in ;-p
