FM Transmitter not working with Pandora

I was only able to find one other person having this problem but they didn't have a solution.

I have a Monster iCarPlay 250 FM Transmitter which seems to think Pandora is not an audio feed so it shuts off the transmitter after only a few seconds of playback. It works great with iTunes, but before I drop another $100 on a FM Transmitter I wanted to know if anyone has a solution or if anyone has a FM Transmitter that charges a 3G iPhone and works with Pandora.
