It's buggy -- turns itself on or off and wait there's more: Hard to find the toggle as it's NOT in settings but in the pull down menu.

If it decides to turn itself on, that means you can miss calls, text and email alerts.

Thanks Apple and Craig for being such geniuses about basics.

Focus has worked flawlessly for me since setting it up.. I have one set using time and one using location and both haven't triggered or turned off unexpectedly.. Focus while driving even works properly.. I actually prefer it over DND..

Hard to find the toggle? I don't see how swiping down for the Control Center from any screen is harder to find than going into settings.

I've never had it turn itself on. Maybe the touchscreen is getting activated in your pocket? Like pocket dialing but turning on focus mode instead? Try going into Settings, Face ID & Passcode then scroll down and turn off Control Center under ALLOW ACCESS WHEN LOCKED. Maybe that will help.

The only thing I dislike about Focus mode vs the old DND is it's more complicated to setup and does require and extra touch to turn on from Control Center. I'm lazy and just want a block everyone and everything vs the granular control Focus mode gives.

I'm 95% with everyone else on this: love it, can be tricky to setup, and works correctly for the most part for me.

Problem for me was similar to OP where Focus would turn off on my iPad randomly. Once I turned off "Share Across Devices" and created a different/new bedtime Focus for it, Focus would stay on as desired during bedtime.

Not a big deal for me as not important to have all my gizmos in same state at same time. Example: at the doctor's office and a Focus is on, iPad at home doesn't need to also be silenced. About only time I want same Focus state across all devices is bedtime and I've fixed that.

I've had an issue where my focus on my iPad is still on when I had recently just turned it off from my iPhone. I still use them every day though.
