I have a Folder Action Automator workflow that works great if I only
copy into the Folder 1 or 2 files. However, when I copy
multiple files to the Folder with the Folder Actions enabled
then the Automator workflow gets called with a variable number of
items.
e.g. If I copy 1 file to the folder then the automator workflow
works perfectly. However, if I copy 8 files then the automator
workflow gets kicked off for files 1,2,3 as one run
then files 4,5,6 as the second run, and 7,8 as the last run.
If there a way to tell Automator to wait until all actions on
a directory are completed before kicking off the Folder Action?
Thanks!!!
More info: I am trying to do a mass file export from iPhoto to
a directory. Once all files are exported to the dir then
have Automator copy the files to my Dropbox & then upload
them to Flickr. All with 1 step.
The export from iPhoto takes a while (a few seconds) so I tried
to export to another folder (on the same physical disk) and then
move them to the Folder with Actions. No luck.
