Ok I fixed it now... after I finish typing and submitting this post. Again time machine restoring my color profiles in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays/ to an earlier file helped to fix my non-dock items, and restarting then removing that folder from the dock got it back to the normal blue color.

How did this happen in the first place?

Hello

Earlier today I had to give a presentation so I plugged in my mac and did my talk. When I finished, I noticed that some of my folders had changed to a blue icon, and now the colorsync utility is popping up (I have no idea how it came up) and it's asking me to verify and repair permissions, but it gives me this error:
Searching for profiles...
Checking 56 profiles...
/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays/Color LCD-00000610-0000-9CB7-0000-000004272DC0.icc
Tag 'cprt': Text tag has an incorrect length.
/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays/Display-756E6B6E-7669-7274-0000-000041DC9D00.icc
Tag 'cprt': Text tag has an incorrect length.
/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays/SONY TV XV-00004DD9-0000-8300-0000-00007660C001.icc
Tag 'cprt': Text tag has an incorrect length.
Verify done - found 3 bad profiles.

How do I fix my folder colors and get rid of this blue? I searched this site and the web for a bit but nothing much has came up. I even tried time machine restoring my color profile, and that helped to fix the two folders that weren't in the dock, but the dock folder is still that blue color.

Thanks
