Folder Content List

I have a rather large music collection and I'd like to have a text file of all the contents in my Music folder. I remember I use to have the terminal code to do this and there was even a small app that would do it. Anyone know?

You could just copy and paste your iTunes library (in iTunes). Or make a copy of the .xml file in your iTunes folder (music>itunes) and open it with TextEdit.

Try this command in Terminal:

ls -R Music

Or for more detailed information about each file:

ls -Rl Music

You can easily make a nicely formatted PDF by choosing File > Print> Song Listing and print to a pdf.

Or just get the text file using File > Export.
