Folder doesn't show properly in Sys Prefs screensaver

I have a folder of 177 large images (few megapixel each) and the System Preferences screen saver only shows 5 of these pictures.
None of the other image folders have this problem.
Same problem with this folder on my other Mac (also uses OS 10.8.4).
Any ideas what's wrong with this folder?

PROBLEM SOLVED: .jpg not .Jpg

The problem is that Sys Prefs Screensaver doesn't accept files with the extension .Jpg as jpegs.
So be careful in batch case changing to "Title Case".
