Folder icons?

I've added a couple of folders to my dock (Leopard) but they just appear as blank blue folders. Is there anyway to add icons or text to these folders?

Iconic will put an imprint of letters, pictures etc onto folders. They are similar to the default ones.

Any icon can be copied and pasted from the get info menu of the folder and the icon. Use the pictures on the top of the get info menus. File > Get Info or Command i or on the right click context menu

Make sure to replace the dock icons after you've changed the actual folder icon.

Also if you do not want it to show the folders, just right click on one and scroll up to "Display As" and click "Stack", then you will see the icons of stuff you have in that folder.

Silly beginners question:

I downloaded iconic, then some icons from iconfactory. I opened the item I wanted with Get Info. However, when I try and drag/drop the icon to iconic, it won't drop. It drags oky, then flies back to the Get Info window when I click in Iconic.
