Folder issue after updating "essential" cydia packages

So I updated last night sone essential cydia packages, mobile substrate libsys and one other and now all the icons in my folders are in the middle on the preview icon and it only shows 2 icons per preview.

Anyone else have this issue?

I'm just talking about the stock folders. In the little preview window it shows 4 icons, 2 on top and 2 on bottom and they're centered in the preview window for the folder.

I just upgraded the essentials and no problems here.

When I enter safe mode the folder correct themselves. When I restart after safe mode they revert back to the problem mentioned above.

+1 here. Same Problem after updating essentials as well as other stuff, all I remember was Cydget, sbrotator and some themes. Tried uninstalling sbrotator and infinitolders but no luck...

Any ideas?

I can't figure it out. I emailed saurik to see if it was a known issue or isolated. It's really annoying though. I tried reinstalling mobile substrate thinking that was it. It also seems to take longer to reboot after a soft reset or using SB settings.

I had this problem a while back after an essential upgrade and someone suggested trying a reboot of the phone (as opposed to a respring). That fixed it for me. Not sure if you've tried rebooting yet, but it's worth a shot if you haven't.

I've tried a soft reset (home and power) and SBS settings. The soft reset can sometimes get hung up, which has started happening after the essential upgrade. I'll try again but so far it hasn't helped.

I actually believe it is/was a themed mobile substrate issue. I have a theme called inpulse. I was going through mobile substrate settings via SBS settings, and saw one called inpulse folders. Unchecked that and my folder previews corrected themselves. If anyone else had this issue try that solution.
