Folder keeps opening on it's own

I have 500GB MyPassport that I use to store all of my movies. Every time I plug it in and open my Movies folder, one specific folder opens up to show all the items in it. I don't know how to fix this, anybody have any ideas?

Also it only happens in List and Cover Flow mode.

What kind of folder is it that opens? Could be an OS X action you linked to it everytime an external HD is attached. Or does that MyPassport perhaps came with its own backup software or something?

It is in Finder preferences IIRC "New Finder Windows Show"....

It's coming from INSIDE the house!

Fixed the problem by copying the files from the USB drive, deleting the folder on the USB drive and then copying back the files.
