Hi, is there any software for MAC that allows me to lock folders? (and possibly hide them)

I prefer to keep my porn :)rolleyes:) in a locked folder hidden away as my Dad will often ask to use my Mac.

Thanks allot.

You can hide folders by prefixing a dot (eg .porn). This hides it and then you'll have to enable hidden files, or use the Terminal or use Go Menu==>Go to Folder to access it.

Thanks mate, ill try it out.

What's wrong with my suggestion?

EDIT: Ah, I see you have to use Terminal to change the name to add a dot prefix to a folder.

Otherwise OS X tells you that it's being used for System files or something along those lines. Tried it myself. :)

Why not ask your dad where he hides his porn? Seems kind of silly to have 2 of you hiding porn on the same computer; chances are, you have a lot of dupes. :p

You could always create a new user account and use that for porn.
