I have two folders on my external hard drive that wont keep my folder setttings. I open the folder and all the files are scattered all over the place. I have to go to [show view options] then [show icon preview] and [arrange by date modified]. This works for a while then if i restart the computer the folder is back to being scattered. Is there a way to fix this?

It's probably a permissions thing or some settng <shrug> but one easy way to fix it might be to create a new folder, move the contents of the messed folder to it, delete the now empty old folder and rename the new one.
