I am really struggling to sort this out so I need some help please.
I have just migrated my mbp to my new mac mini (so that my mini will be a server)
I am trying to change the location of the itunes library from my mbp to the same place on my mac mini.
I have enabled files sharing on the mac mini, added the file i want to share etc.
I can see the mac mini in the finder on my mbp but when i try to connect i can only connect as a guest (which can only see two fooders media & movies??)
If i hit the connect as... the prompt askes for a server password which I assume is my name and the user log on password but this doesnt work???
Is the issue the fact that both systems are logged in using the same user name??
I have tried logging in as a guest on the mbp but still cannot see the shared itunes folder even though i have shared folder option checked under user groups.
I should mention that i can control the mac mini from my macbook pro via screen sharing so it is connecting
