Looking for some advice about folding bicycles for city use.

I want to put two in my car trunk, so full sized ones such as Montague are probably out of the question. Going for something without suspensions so it's lighter. Looking at around $300 each, older models are ok.

What are some of the more reliable brands / models with 20" tires?

I don't remember the tire size, but my Giant collapsable was pretty good. Small wheels but they rode like larger ones, and it was affordable.

Maybe an older secondhand Bike Friday, they will get you anywhere.

Mine is below taken on the Karakorum Highway in Pakistan.

So looks like Dahon is one of the major companies. Someone I knew has one.

Hum they don't provide the weight of their expressway folding bike.

Wow, they look great if I need to travel a lot. Unfortunately I already have a full sized hybrid bike so looking for something inexpensive.

Yeah, expensive, that's why I said S/h.
Mine cost me 5000 dutch guilders back then, travelled around the world with it.

One bad thing about them, tires wear out faster.
