folding@home couldn't get work

I have been trying to revive my folding, i folded 200 units back in 2009 and now want to fold some more.

I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.3 with a Mac mini and I haven't been able to get a work packet. I have upgraded my f@h client (sys pref version) and deleted the *user*/library/folding@home data (thought it may have been somehow corrupt)

i have uninstalled and reinstalled.

here is the output. i've been trying for a few days, and have hit disable/enable to see if it was just a session thing. my windows computer in the other room has been working fine....

Try Increase, I use this on my Mac. Follow the intruction to get it started, need to install fah6 then create a group :)

Just make sure to enter 3446 as team number or I think it folds for Team Mac OSX ;)

no thanks on Team Mac OS X, i have tried InCrease on this machine too. didn't work. I never liked InCrease as i have only one client running (on my relatively low powered machines) and there isn't much i can't keep track of. i used to use a F@H widget that would just give me some stats about the WU and other things... but it just pulls straight from the FAHlog

gotcha. my advise is to uninstall everything. i believe there's an uninstall script in the install download. that way you uninstall it correctly. then try it again tomorrow - reinstall and make sure you follow the directions

I've read elsewhere that Stanford is having a shortage in a3 units. So just keep trying and you should get a unit. They are said to be working on the issue. Some people didn't get a unit for 6 straight days

I have some clients that aren't getting any wu's either, at least my gpu's and Mac pro are going ok. I would say to give it a rest for a few days until they get things ironed out at Stanford or just let it keep trying...

yeah. one of my i7's didn't get a bigadv unit today! i hope they aren't out of bigadv units now!
