OK, I am no hardware or software genius. Infact, I'm not genius, but I digress.

How, or will the new chipsets affect our abilities compared to now?

And will the award winning "folding widget" get ported?

I've heard that P4's fold better than G5's due to SSE optimization.

Widgets don't need to be ported, they already work, according to Apple.

I personally can't wait to see how these new Intel based Apples will perform doing the distributed computing. Finally we will be able to compare x86 vs x86 computers while still doing mac vs windows.

I knew I should have posted this question here, as opposed to the intel thread like I did..

The widgets will work, but I am excited that we will be able to get the same levels (i hope) as the X86 systems from this point forward.
