iPod Folding vs hard iPod case

What do you prefer for an iPod case... a hard one like the Agent 18 Videoshield or one that folds in front and it looks sorta like a wallet?

I'm trying to just find a case that will prevent my screen from scratching... but don't know which type would be best.

it depends what you are using it for...if you look at the screen a lot get the plastic one, i had one of those...the wallet case usually covers the ipod...its just a matter of preference i think.

Interesting question - does anyone know what the cases that come with the 5G iPod are made of? I like that material.

I prefer a hard case. I'm not crazy about the wallet design cases. I like to be able to take my iPod out of my pocket and see it straight away, especially when walking with it or exercising etc.
