Font changing in safari and mail programs?????

My fonts in safari and mail programs have changed, and I'm not sure how they changed nor do I know how to change them back. Please Help!

In Mail, the font has changed only in the incoming emails, not the fonts in the program itself......same with safari, not with the program fonts but most of the websites are changed to this new font that is difficult to read. I recently downloaded the new foxfire, and the font showed up there first, then on a restart it showed up in the other two programs.

Please help me to change them back.
