Hi, I've been sorting all my fonts out using font book in Lion, this is what I have:
user/Library/fonts/--166 fonts in here --
Macintosh HD/System/Library/Fonts/--37 fonts in here, standard fonts--
Macintosh HD/Library/fonts/--NOTHING--
In my font book app I have the collections:
All fonts: Displays all my fonts
Computer: Displays my 37 System library fonts
User: Displays my 166 fonts
Now I have 'deactivated' ALL of my 'user' fonts but when I open up Illustrator/photoshop all my fonts are visible and displayed, so font book says they are 'off' but they are in fact 'on' and active.
Am I missing something here? - I used to have Extensis Fusion Suitcase where I could activate fonts on or off when I need them and not sacrifice processor speed having all my fonts load up everytime, doesn't fontbook run the same way?
