I've designed and have up and running using iWeb 09, a website for our community organisation.

however quite a few PC using ppl have said how come I've used Times New Roman everywhere (which font I loathe) and that there are overlaps of text boxes on some pages.

is it so that iWeb requires the same fonts used to be also installed on the 'viewing' computer?

why does iWeb not 'lock in' (or is embed the correct term?) fonts in one's site.

really don't want to have to buy another app like RapidWeaver and repeat the whole process, but may have to if I can't find a solution

any help much appreciated

Embedding fonts does not work in all browsers and there's different techniques, that's why. You have to use web safe fonts if you want to guarantee it'll be the same for everyone.
