Ever since I bought my MBP (2010) , I've noticed that some characters don't display properly on certain websites; instead they appear as squares (inside which are random numbers). I've just put up with it up to this point.

Firstly, on MacRumors, whenever an apostrophe is written in an article post, all I see is a square. This appears only to happen on MR, and I have no idea why this is.

In addition, I've noticed (while on Wikipedia) that many of the more obscure language scripts do not render properly. Is there a font pack that I can download that will allow me to see pages encoded in (almost) every language font?

I'm using Firefox 4 on Mac OS X 10.6.7.

I appreciate any help. :)
