A few days ago I installed a large package of fonts, but a lot of them turned out to be corrupt and caused a myriad of problems, like random hangs and crashes.
I validated my Fonts in Font Book and tried to remove all the corrupt ones, but it kept crashing (probably due to a corrupt font, no doubt...).
So I used FontDoctor, which took quite a few runs but almost all the problems were apparently gone.
Now, most of the crashes are gone, but I still get some hangs, now usually under a minute at a time.

Font Book still says there's >2,000 'minor problems', but still crashes when I try to remove them, so I've been going through the list manually selecting a few dozen at a time and removing them.
But, suddenly text on webpages turned bold and it turned out I'd removed 'Arial'. I assumed in the 'minor errors' when it said 'duplicate font' and I only saw one error, I would only be deleting the duplicate (Arial is valid).

I need a better way to sort out my 2,000+ erorrs, or this will take forever! FontDoctor says there's no errors, and FontBook crashes when I try to automatically remove them all.
