After installing Leopard I have had an assortment of problems viewing and using Thai fonts with 3rd party apps. I've addressed my problems with Office Mac in another post. My other problem is with Firefox. It seems that no matter what I do (character encoding, default font prefs, reinstall Firefox) I can't get Thai fonts to view correctly (also problems in Camino) The fonts view fine in Safari. This is similar to my MS Office problem in that Thai fonts view fine in Apple Pages, but not in MS Word.

Is there something different about the way Leopard handles fonts that affects foreign encodings on 3rd party apps? I'm lost.

Thanks for any help.

Discussion over at Apple

Some have sorted this out with some tinkering and tweaking. Take a look on the Apple forum. But unlike you, I'm still having trouble with Safari, etc.
