I have Photoshop CS2 and using Linotype Font Explorer to test auto-activation. Can someone tell me if this should be working?
1. I activate a font in Font Explorer.
2. I open Photoshop and create a test document using this font. I type a line or two. I save the file and close Photoshop.
3. I de-activate the font in Font Explorer.
4. I re-open the document in Photoshop and get this message: "Some layers contain fonts the are missing. These layers will need to have the missing fonts replaced before they can be used for vector output". I click okay and the file opens without the font being activated in the Photoshop font menu, nor was it turned on automatically in Font Explorer.
Shouldn't Font Explorer have auto activated this font -- or am I misunderstanding how auto-activation works?
thanks
