2024 Macbook Air I'm 76 and eyesight not what it used to be. I have to read this daily report and even on this web site and most news sites the font is light grey and hard for me to read. I googled for the answer and watched Youtubes with no resolution.

I'm using Safari and running Sequoia 15.4.
I doubt that it's the feed of the website I'm reading each day, because most sites are light grey that I go to.

Any suggestions? Attached is an example.

Whoa! That text looks terrible — gray AND blurry.

How does the MacRumors website look?

You said it affects most websites. That suggests a system setting issue, likely display settings — or a hardware panel issue.

You've probably checked these settings already, but look under Settings, Displays. What is the Color profile set to? My MBA comes up, by default, as “Color LCD”.

Different display profiles can wreak havoc on text. I know from past experience on a vintage Intel MBA that customizing the color profile — and screen resolution — could result in grey blurry text!

Does turning OFF (or on) True Tone and “Automatically adjust brightness” help at all?

How about the different Text sizes?

Have you sent photos of a sample of troubling websites to the Apple tech support people?

Are you near an Apple store where you can show them how your MBA is working? And, check out the floor models on the websites to see how they look?

Good luck with it! I'm sure some of the tech mavens around here who know their stuff will chime in with suggestions.
