I'd like to be able to transfer some of the fonts from my old computer to new imac since I used them in some Quark4.11 docs. Now using 10.5.6 and Quark 8.0.

Can I do this without wrecking havoc, and if so, where should they go? I notice that the fonts in HD/Library/Fonts folder the fonts are Datafork True Type / Windows True type or Suitcase, and some of those that I want to bring over are postscript, suitcase and some are alias.

Appreciate comments & assistance.

Thanks

By default, user-installed fonts go into ~/Library/Fonts and presets to /Library/Fonts. You can dump the files in there directly, or double-click to have Font Book install for you.
