My publisher cannot use my pdf's because the fonts are embedding multiple times. Optima is the only font being used on most of the pages (Created in InDesign CS2)but it embeds the font three times. Any tips on how to embed the font once? I convert to pdf using Adobe Acrobat 6.0.

Fonts embedding multiples times

Any reason that you have not yet upgraded to Acrobat 7, Acrobat 8, or Acrobat 9? But, I digress? The answer may be something as simple as the fact that you are embedding multiple styles of Optima or you may be embedding the font in multiple formats such as TrueType and Adobe Type 1. Without seeing a copy of your PDF, we can only guess.
