Ok so I installed a bunch of custom fonts like an idiot by dragging and dropping them to the library/font folder. So now I have like 2000 fonts, some are corrupt, and Microsoft 2011 isn't recognizing any fonts but a few of the usual fonts and a bunch of chinese fonts. All my old documents open up and the wingding font is missing so any outlines I typed up are messed up.

I tried reinstalling Microsof office and it did not change anything. Is there any way to just completely restore all my fonts back to what they were before I installed custom fonts? Is there a folder of default mac fonts somewhere for me to download and replace my font folder with? The system font folder is untouched and has the original fonts so all my problems are strictly with application fonts.

Pherhaps someone you know has a mac who's folder you could copy? You could also try to open the Lion installer with "pacifist" and see if there's an original font folder in the installer.
