Fonts on ipad

Hi all new iPad user, can you change fonts? I've got the iPad pages app & and font app, but it seems to be useless. Any ideas.

With iOS 4.2 you can change the fonts on the Notes app, you can also change the font on the Pages app, but not the System fonts.
