Fonts won't show up in Photoshop

ok- I purchased a large amount of fonts and have installed them - They are all in my "fonts" folder and work well in all of my other applications. However in Photoshop CS It only allows me to choose the fonts that begin with the letters A -H as if it has put a limit to the number of fonts I can access while using the application. This is frustrating when I am working on a project and want to add say the SF republic font. Anybody have a clue as to how I can resolve this issue? thanks
