Well, my iPhone has been out for delivery since 8:07AM this morning via UPS. I have been sitting around since 12PM waiting.


I just now checked my tracking number on the UPS website at 2:41PM


It says the package was delivered at 2:17PM



Nobody has been to my house.

I've done both those things. I checked the front door, the door on the garage, the back porch door, the mailbox.

My neighbor across the street has the same number house as I do (Both number 12, different street names, directly across from each other) as many times in the past things end up at their house...apparently nobody sees the big "12 _______ Lane" sign. BUT HIS WIFE SAID NOTHING HAS COME TO THE HOUSE.

My next door neighbor is at work, and there is nothing on his front step.

Had this happen to me before, but not with an iPhone. Call FedEx/UPS whichever one about it. Sometimes the drivers mark it as delivered but accidentally leave it on the truck.

I think you've been F'ed! Big time!

Seems like couriers have realised the iPhone release date and are going ape siht stealing iPhones from boxes.

Seems like law and order is gone.
 
either go online or call UPS and ask for signature proof, Otherwise file claim and get your new phone in 9-2011
 
I just got a facetime call from a UPS driver in your area ... he was laughing. ;)
 
How is UPS delivering your phone. .... I thought it was all done via FedEx.

Didn't think they could just drop these things off on your stoop. Thought *someone* had to sign for it.

UPS or whoever should note if they drop a package off at a different address.
 
It says it was signed by "ROSS".


Who the **** is Ross?!?!!

I just got back from my doctors appointment, still no package, and I am now calling up UPS :mad:
 
UPDATE

Turns out that it was a mix-up between both AT&T and UPS

Well, I called up UPS and they said the iPhone was shipped to some weird address 1718 ______ (Mine is 12 _______) and they said that it had been delivered and to contact the AT&T store I bought it at. As I looked up the number, the address for the store was 718, one digit off the delivery address.

So what happened was I marked for home shipping, and when the employees were transferring the paper orders into the AT&T system on the 15th, they switched my order to in-store delivery. This explains why my order was through UPS and not FedEx. I WAS TRACKING THE WHOLE STORE'S ORDER OF IPHONES!

The manager was a little dumbfounded that I knew exactly when the store had received their shipment. Guess I have to wait until tomorrow!
