REAL human sufferring and tragedy in a video game?
Tough call. Where it might APPEAR to "make kids aware" of the hunger situation, methinks it might in fact minimize it's importance... I need more time to think about this.

I'm surprised that the article doesn't have the link to Food Force.com. So I thought that I would take a look. Much to my surprise, it's for Mac also. I will let one of our geek gamers give it a review.

Actually this seems like a pretty good idea for a video game. Logistics in battling world hunger seems to be the real enemy of any UN work. We are in overabundance of food so getting it to people in need is the biggest challenge we are facing.

This is sort of like the Army using Doom to train their soldiers.
