Football Manager 2005 - CD not found?

I've just installed Football Manager 2005 and when I open it it says that the CD can't be found. I'm sure I had it working once, but when i installed the latest update it stopped working. I reinstalled and can't get it working again..

ANy ideas?
 
Which OS are you using? There have been issues with FM2005 and Tiger I know.

Also, what exactly is the problem? Is the CD not mounting, or is the game simply not recognising it?
 
I've experienced certain problems with FM on Tiger, but not with the CD not being recognised.

There's a newish FM for Mac forum out there, and there is a solution to some Tiger related issues on there. It's timing out for me right now, but take a peek at http://fmmac.posel.co.uk/ at some point, and you should find a proposed solution within their forums.
