For 3g owners, has iOS4 changed much?

I've only seen the ability to create folders. I can't change the come page wallpaper nor does the spell checker work...

Currently using iOS4 GM though I'm installing the release version now... (not that I'm told it will make a difference?)

Are there any other features I should be expecting for my 3g?

Hopefully, I'll be getting a i4 on Thursday but I was really hoping for a bit more of a change.
