I have owned both 2nd & 3rd gen ATVs and haven't noticed any difference between the two in Airplay mirroriing. Response time seems the same to me....

No. The mirroring is based upon processing from the device itself, be it an iPad, iPhone, or whatever that is actually streaming the data. The only thing the ATV has to do is receive the signal and show the picture.

No. The mirroring is based upon processing from the device itself, be it an iPad, iPhone, or whatever that is actually streaming the data. The only thing the ATV has to do is receive the signal and show the picture.
