Hello,

Am using Google Translate on my mac. Works, sorta.

Output audio from a sw receive is fed into the mac.

Question: Do I have to ID the incoming language for it to translate
it to a selected language, like e.g., English ?

Or, should it be able to ID this incoming language stream by itself, and ID the language (for the translation of) ?

I have not been able to have it do it.
But, I'm not sure that it is supposed to do it automatically.

Perhaps you are supposed to pick from the very big list of supported languages first, by yourself ?
Then, it translates from this language to whatever you select ?

Any users who could help me, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks,
Bob

You are feeding google translate with audio output from a shortwave receiver?

Normally google translate does detect the language. Copy/paste text from another language and you can see it work.

Not sure about audio input though.
