Severe Weather in Louisville, KY, Causing Delays

Service Update

Severe weather in Louisville, KY, caused a significant disruption to operations at Worldport®, UPS's main hub in the United States. As a result, some shipments may experience unavoidable delays.

UPS is working to move shipments to their final destinations as quickly as possible. You can track shipment progress on ups.com.

The UPS Service Guarantee does not apply when transportation networks are disrupted due to conditions beyond UPS's control.

I'll be so pissed if this holds up my 6, it's sitting there right now and I've held for delivery for tomorrow morning!

I live in Kentucky, just south of Louisville on interstate 65. I can promise you that there has been no severe weather anywhere in the state. They're just messing with you.

lol exactly. probably falling behind and need an excuse for late deliveries.

Forecast for today is 75 and mostly sunny with zero chance of rain. Winds 5-10 mph. Couldn't really be a more perfect day.

All the iphones are coming from the same place :

I check the weather and it shows 0% chance of rain that info is wrong

I drive all over the south central portion of the state weekly and this is the nicest weather we've had in a while lol.

Mine still shows "on time"...should be fine. Mine most likely will come via truck to my town, since I am not too far from Louisville (few hours).

I also live in Louisville, and I find this hard to believe. Seriously, just look outside, its clear as can be  Also one of my best friends works at UPS, he had to get to work at 5 this morning, he said there were already plane loads of iPhones coming in. He couldn't give me a number but around 50k it sounds like.

I wouldn't be too worried about not getting your phone ;)

Good to hear, I'll be picking up mine tomorrow at 9:00 AM, and I'll find out if the full priced T-Mobile works with my AT&T sim:)

Louisville resident here. I read this post on my iPhone while sitting on my porch admiring a beautiful Fall day. Don't foresee a rain delay OP. ;)

What a great city. My wife is from there. Wouldn't mind living there one day.

Yep, you're right, and it only showed up when I went to the Live Chat to get my phone held for pickup.

Yep. Mine just got to there and the stormy weather is in west tn (where I live), definitely not Louisville. No worries! The phones shall be ours tomorrow!
