Processor 2.53 Ghz Intel core 2 duo
Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Which MBP's handle atleast 8 gig ram?

If it is a 2009 model then yes, the Maximum is 8 GB.

If you ask a question, mention the model identifier, you can buy a in 2009 but that does not always mean it's a 2009 model.
But, it seems it is a 2009 model.
