I couldn't find a reference to this, so apologies if it has come up before.

Having just made the move to Logic X and 64 bit .... after many years, I found
this company and program that is a life saver>

http://www.32lives.com

This small program wraps many 32bit plugins that are NOT available in 64bit versions yet.

This saved my "bacon" with my IK Multimedia / URS Audio and a few other things that don't look
like they will receive the 64bit update.

Works VERY well indeed, check their list of supported working 32bit plugins:

Cheers,

Though I use Vienna Ensemble to do this for large projects, 32Lives does work pretty well. No problems in my testing.

I also use VE Pro 5 and have jBridgeM for vst samples but it's good to know there is now a solution for au samples.

Ik Multimedia's SampleTank 3 should be out in a few months which will be 64-bit. It should also import Sonic Synth, SampleMoog and SampleTron patches like ST 2.5 does.

That's good to know, many thanks :)

Two weeks into the "32 Lives" and it is so far rock solid, V-Impressed.
