Got a Mac a few months ago. Installed Google Chrome. Use web sited that log me in automatically to some of the frequent websites I use. Today I was cleaning my history in google chrome and freaking deleted everything when all i wanted to delete was stuff from the past few days. Now I can't log in to the websites I had open. Is there any way to recover these passwords with something like a system restore? Or to restore my cookies or anything. I'm well versed in Windows and I know i can use system restore but on Mac there is no such option.
So basically my question is, is there any way to restore the deleted history (files, cookies, all) for Google Chrome, for Mac.

Any help is appreciated since I just spent 2 hours trying to find an answer online and failed miserably.

Thank you

Doesn't the site allow you to recover/change your password? i.e., email you a link to change your password or prompt you for questions to confirm your identity?

Other then restoring a backup, there's no way to recover the cookies that were removed

no time machine, no back up. the problem with restoring the passwords for some of my websites is that when I sign up i put stupid info, never give my real date of birth or for ex. phone number. And I never store any passwords, just in case. I'm paranoid so now I am where I am.

However I did discover cache and cookies within the mac, however I don't know how to read them or use them in a way that I can restore stuff. So I thought maybe there's somebody well versed in these things that knows how to make some sense of all this data. SO the gist is, I found data, I just don't know how to use it now.

Did you check /YourHardDrive/Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access or if you use Safari at any time Safari, Preferences, Passwords? Is the password saved in either of these two locations?

checked keychain, it only has wifi passwords saved
don't use safari, only google chrome.

as i mentioned i did find cache and history and cookies but i don't know how to read it or use it.
