Is there a set of pre-installed default settings, or do you have to customize all of them? Thanks!

When you first open it, you have no gestures defined. You have to click "add new gestures", select the one you want (there're are a lot of them) and select the action or enter a shortcut (like CMD - q)
There're a lot of predefined actions such as Launchpad, Mission Control, Dashboard, Volume up, Volume down, Show Desktop and many more.

Thanks! I've been using ji touch because it already has a default list of gestures combined with actions, but I know BTT is incredibly versatile ... thanks!

BTT ftw.

Sooo many options. Also, look for BetterSnapTool in the Mac AppStore. (made by the same developer)
