Starting on a MacBook Pro on 10.9.4, moving to a MacBook Air on 10.9.4.

Ran Migration Assistant, moved everything but the iTunes library. Keychain did *NOT* transfer.

Tried doing the "copy the old login.keychain file; "add keychain" on the new system" trick I found in searches. Didn't work.

Looked again on the old Pro, and the passwords aren't in the "login" keychain, they're in "Local Items" keychain - which I can't find a file for.

So I manually created a new keychain. Manually (within Keychain Access) copied the items from the Local Items to the new keychain. Tried importing THAT on the new Air. Still didn't import anything.

Does anyone know what I might be missing?

Did you figure this out? I have the same problem. There's a ton of password in Local Items that I want on my new Mac.
