I always upgrade every year and I enjoy a fresh new device after hammering my current phone for 12 months.

I wasn’t 100% pleased with the 15 Pro Max as it has always run hot and the battery life has not been the best. I attribute this to the first gen 3nm process so I am looking forward to the new A18 Pro chip built on the 2nd gen 3nm process. I have experience of it with my M4 iPad Pro which has been absolutely phenomenal for speed, efficiency and always running cool. As the A18 Pro is an M4 derivative then I am hoping we get the same benefits for this years iPhone.

Increased battery is always welcome and so is a bigger screen, I love a big screen so can’t wait.

I am a camera guy so new camera incremental upgrades are always welcome and I am looking forward to testing the new button plus the new ultra wide camera.

I guess lots of small upgrades can add up to a fresh feeling device. I used to like the S year iPhone upgrades as they were always refined devices from the previous year and I feel like this year is one of those years.
I think we are going to get a really nice iPhone this year, roll on next week.

Good move to skip the 15... The 16 is the one to upgrade :)... and then 18 :D

The studio mic, Wifi 7, and bigger display is what i am looking forward too. The camera button will make things easier too.. + AI proof for now..
