It's totally dependent on what you're ordering. My guess is that the majority of people who got super-fast turnarounds on their orders are ones who ordered the super-common models, e.g. 16GB space grey. If you're looking for any variety in gold, I can virtually guarantee that's not going anywhere fast. 
Well I am tired of playing the game of trying to find one locally. So I placed my order on AT&T.com and will keep this thread updated when I find anything out. I ordered a 32gb Space Grey.

Even if it's the 14 days (7-14 days) I am fine with that. I just have too much on my plate right now to be babysitting Apple.com to try to get one quicker. I would like to have it now but my 5 is a great phone so I don't need to rush it.
I ordered a 32 gb 5S in Space Grey Saturday night. Got shipping confirmation email yesterday and it came today via FedEx.

I hope so. My 1st iphone was a black 4. I've had white since then and thought I would change it up. I think all the colors are nice and it seems the space grey is more readily available so hopefully it works out for me. I wouldn't have even been so eager to upgrade this year except that I have outgrown 16gb and need to step up to 32gb. Maybe by next year I'll need 64gb but I highly doubt it. I don't put music on my phone.
I ordered 16 GB SG on Saturday and it still hasn't shipped. It says it will ship between the 8th and 14th.
Today their store page lists no estimated ship time for 32 or 64Gb space gray vs. the 'ships in 7-10 days' they used to indicate. Other models do, however.
So now does that mean much longer or shorter ship times?

Well I never got an email but I just checked AT&T.com and my order is now SHIPPED!!!!!! Shipping via USPS which I think is odd but I have a tracking #. Good stuff! Oh and I still haven't seen a Grey 32gb AT&T in stock at my local Apple store yet so I'm glad I did this.
Ordered 32GB white and silver on 9-21. Got shipping email on 9-25 and delivered 9-27. I was given an estimated ship date of oct 1-30, so it happened way faster than I expected for me
