Can you roam with it??

I unlocked my iphone 4 for my girlfriend to use on T-mobile (running 4.3.5) with the gevey sim. Everything works great on it, but we went on a road trip this weekend, and her phone had the gevey welcome message when she lost t-moblie service. I didn't try to re-unlock it, we just shut it off until we got home, then I unlocked it again for her with no issues.

Any suggestions??

It's a known issue that when you lose the signal you have to go through the process again. There's really no way around it.

I must have missed that in my research.. that kind of sucks.. Hopefully there will be an untethered jailbrake and unlock soon..

are you jailbroken?

why not purchase a gevey ultra.

i purchased mine only like 12 bucks off ebay, I'm on 4.3.3 and all you do is add a cydia source and install fusion mod or something along those lines.

you never have to call 112

it does take a minute or two after boot up to get signal though.

edge works fine too, same with mms.

I have the Gevey Ultra, but I'm not jailbroke.
running IOS 4.3.5, 4.10.01 baseband.

I also have the gevey sim ultra with iPhone 4 baseband 4.10 and I am on iOS 5 stock. It works great I am not jailbroke waiting for the untethered jailbreak.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the unlock. The dev team hasn't had one since 4.0.2, hence the release of gevey by another group.
Buy a factory unlocked phone or deal with gevey's limitations.
