Which applications/libraries have you installed/used? What do you use them for?

My list:

wget
gdlib
PHP
MySQL
zlib
freetype
libpng
libjpeg
lame

lame is used for MP3 encoding (since I think it does a better job than iTunes).
wget is used for grabbing files and entire web sites from the web.
All the other stuff is used on my testing web server.
