iPhone 12 For those of you with thousands of photos, has iCloud Photo Library finished downloading your photos?

I have about 8,261 photos and keep originals on my phone. iCloud seems to stop downloading quite frequently. It's been two full days and it seems to be stuck at 7,175. Im assuming its because of the busy servers, right?

Nothing to do with busy servers, it’s always been appallingly slow to download photographs. Just have to wait it out. Maybe restart your device as well... i’ve noticed with mine that it sometimes speeds it up for a short while

It seems it helps if the phone is on the charger.

32k photos here, just plug it in and leave the photos app running. Goes much faster
