When using 3G, how long does it take to buffer a song before it actually starts playing? on 3G its insanely slow even though at the moment my 3G speeds are unbelievably great as far as email and the web goes?

any way i can speed it up?

I just tested mine
took 17 seconds to start playing the song over 3G

I don't think there would be any real way to speed it up, most likely has to do with your computers upload speeds and the 3G download speeds

yeah

this app has such an unbelievable concept..virtual unlimited memory. I just really want it to work good/fast with 3G.

Do you think they can make it faster with an update to the application?

I use this program on my first generation iPhone. Over EDGE it only takes about 10-12 secs. for about five minute long songs (if the length makes any real difference) to buffer. Is it as slow over EDGE when you try it?

Best

How good is your connection on the computer with which you stream your itunes library? The buffer speed might also be dependant on that I think.

Does anyone know if the app stores the songs you've already listened to in the phone's memory? or will it buffer the song each time you play it during one session? And it takes about half a second to buffer a song over my N-band router's Wi-Fi. Not seamless, but close enough all things considered!
