For those who got a rMBP in December, what kind of screen did you get?

Just curious what screen people got if they purchased their MBPR in december any image retention

that checkboard test "works" on mine but u shouldnt take that test seriously anyway. havent experienced it anywhere else so far.

bought mine on dec 27 with a production date of early nov. most likely LG, cant check on the 13ich tho

I got mine on the 12/12/12. It's an LG screen. No issues so far.

I bought a 13" rMBP from MacMall the day after Christmas. I don't know who made the screen since the script doesn't work, but from the Chipmunk.nl site it appears to have been made in October. So far I have not noticed any image retention issues.

15" for home use bought Nov. 2 was Samsung. Then,

Bought a 13" at end of Nov. for school. that had nasty IR right out of the box. Returned it and got it replaced with a 15". No IR but it did have a LG screen. I returned it though because even tho it was the better value I needed the smaller form factor for school.

The 2nd 13" rMBP didn't have IR at first but by day 7 had modest IR so I returned it and was going to jut get a 13" Air but the Air screen was so anemic in comparison that I decided to roll the dice on another 13" rMBP. I've had this one for 10 days and no IR yet. Hopefully none will show up later... I'll have to keep it because even with IR it still trounces the Air screen.

I would hope that it is BTO, and that as they're still using LG screens the IR issue is sorted.

I got one early december, BTO 16/256/2.6.. It is a samsung screen, and the only one I have kept. Had two LG, one very low brightness, on IR. As of now, over a month in and daily 4-8 hours use, this one seems fine. NO DP's, NO YeLLOW, etc..
