For those who have tethered iOS 5.1.1, no need to restore. Get Rocky Racoon Untether

EDIT: Installed and rebooted to test was rewarded with a respring loop. Possibly to do with having iCaughtU installed but I'm going to restore and use Absinthe. Will report back soon.

As mentioned this didn't work for me (Iphone4) on iOS5.1.1. Use with caution.

Having to do a restore now and reapply jailbreak. Lets hope my OpenBackup works!

Yes I'm using an iPhone 4. Worked for me and now I can reboot with Cydia and all apps and tweaks working.

@jawadahsen yep "rocky racoon" is the name of the underlying 5.1.1 JB+untether

Please do *not* try to "reset all device and settings" if you're already tethered JB! In which case you should be installing it via Cydia)

What I did to fix the issue is downloading rocky racoon untether right after i jailbreak using redsnow. It worked for me, without using absinthe.

So looks like it's working for some, but not all
